Meet The Pastor - Belmont

Birthplace: Monroe, Georgia
Family: Devoted husband, proud father of two sons, two daughters, and three grandchildren

Pastor Joshua Martin has been faithfully serving in ministry since he was 18 when he began in children’s church right after he married his wife, Mariah. He has served as pastor for 7 years, his journey also includes youth pastor and as a deacon at Rock Hill Church.

Joshua’s greatest hope for the church is to see it become a beacon of hope in a lost and dying world—a place where individuals are spiritually nourished, physically supported, emotionally healed, and empowered to live with purpose. His ministry is centered on inspiring faith and guiding his congregation to walk in God’s love and truth.

When not engaged in ministry, Joshua finds joy in traveling across the United States with his family, admiring the handiwork of our Heavenly Father.

Joshua’s favorite Bible verse, Hebrews 11:1, serves as the foundation of his faith: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." This scripture encapsulates his belief that faith is the cornerstone of a life pleasing to God and the driving force behind his ministry.
