Family: Married to Sonia for 52 years, proud father of two sons, Jeffrey and Ryan, and one daughter, Jacqueline, all married

Pastor Carlos Brenes has been a dedicated servant of God for many years, faithfully ministering and growing in his faith since 1996. Throughout this journey, he has had the privilege of meeting and learning from many pastors with outstanding testimonies in Christ. Their influence, along with God’s grace, has shaped him into a mature and steadfast leader, prepared to face every challenge with faith and perseverance.

For the past 28 years, Pastor Carlos and his wife, Sonia, have faithfully pastored Bethel Church in Saluda, South Carolina. Through every season, they have witnessed the unwavering faithfulness of God and can confidently proclaim, "Ebenezer, Ebenezer—up to this point, the Lord has helped us." Their dedication to ministry has made a lasting impact on their congregation and community.

Pastor Carlos’s greatest desire is for the gospel of Christ to be preached throughout the world. His life and ministry are a testament to the power of faith, perseverance, and the blessings of God.
