Meet The Pastor - Caroleen
Rev. Tim Whiteside
Birthplace: Rutherford County, North Carolina
Family: Devoted husband, father of three (2 sons and 1 daughter), and proud grandfather to two grandchildren, Cole (22) and Jay (2 ½).
Pastor Tim Whiteside has been a steadfast servant of the Lord, attending church faithfully for 40 years and pastoring for the last four. His leadership journey within the CHC Movement began long before his pastoral role, as he served faithfully as a Deacon since 1998. His mission is clear: to lead as many people as possible into the Kingdom of God, sharing the hope and truth of the Gospel.
Outside of his ministry, Pastor Tim cherishes his role as "Pappy," enjoying precious moments with his grandchildren. He finds joy in working on church projects, assisting his son Christopher with building his log cabin, and spending quality time with his beloved wife.
Pastor Tim's favorite Bible verse, Hebrews 11:10, holds a deeply personal significance. It was the verse his son Dusty, at the age of 10, taught during a Thursday service just days before his passing. Pastor Tim often reflects on this verse, challenging his church and others with the heartfelt question: "Are you looking for that city?"
Pastor Tim Whiteside leads with a servant's heart, inspiring others to pursue their faith with steadfast hope and a vision for eternity.
