Meet The Pastor - Cornerstone

Birthplace: Grovetown, Georgia
Family: Devoted husband, father of 3 daughters, proud grandfather to 7 grandchildren, and blessed with 4 great-grandchildren.

Pastor George James has faithfully served as a pastor for the past six years, His previous roles include serving as Home Missions and Brotherhood Director and currently as Secretary on the District Board.

Pastor George believes that all churches can be healthy by making disciples of those who attend. He believes that equipping believers to grow spiritually strengthens not only the church but the community as a whole.

When not ministering, Pastor George enjoys restoring his grandfather’s 1959 Chevy truck—a cherished family heirloom—and spending time camping by the lake with loved ones. His favorite Bible verse, Hebrews 10:23, reflects his deep faith: “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.” He finds strength in knowing that by staying faithful, the Lord fulfills His promises and meets every need.

With his steady leadership and unwavering faith, Pastor George James continues to inspire and guide others on their spiritual journeys.
