Pastor James A. James has been faithfully serving in ministry for over two decades. With 21 years of pastoral experience, he has led his congregation with unwavering dedication and a vision to see souls saved and lives changed by the transformative power of the Gospel. Pastor James is presently serving as the West Carolina District Superintendent and as a General Committee Member.
Pastor James’s heart is for the church and the community. His passion is to guide individuals into a deeper relationship with Christ and to see lives transformed through faith, love, and service. He strives to create a church environment that welcomes all and inspires growth across generations.
Beyond his pastoral duties, Pastor James enjoys all sports, playing the guitar, memorizing scripture, and spending time with his family. One of his favorite Bible verses, Proverbs 3:5-6, serves as his guiding principle: "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
Pastor James is a strong believer in servant leadership. A quote he has never forgotten was told to him by his wife’s father: “Before anyone can be a good leader, they must first be a good follower.” Pastor James continues to inspire others to walk in faith, purpose, and devotion with servanthood in mind.
